Of all of Sheikh’s Hamad Bin Hamdan modifications, this one has to be the one that stands out. It is supposed to resemble a Jeep Wrangler but instead looks like a classic vehicle. Yahoo has described it as the biggest two-wheeled vehicle in the world.

What makes it unique is the front fascia, especially the grille. Under the hood, there is the V8 engine, which can produce up to 394 HP. Of all of the Sheikh’s Hamad customs, this one looks like it is at least drivable.

Seawise Giant is considered to be the biggest sea vehicle in the world, but in the ranking of the largest ship by gross tonnage, she is behind the four French- flags, Batillus class ULCC’s ultra-large crude carriers. One of the biggest vehicles ever made was the Gustav Gun, a series of guns by German forces prior to the start of World War II, and they were incredibly huge. The vehicle itself had to be huge because the shells it fired were among the heaviest and largest calibre ammunition vehicles ever produced in the world. The gun itself weighed in at 1,330 tons, and it was around 47 meters in length and about 18 meters high.

The Gustav gun required a small army of men to operate, and it could really only fire between 12 and 14 shots per day because reloading was a major process. The shells were 800 caliber each, and each shell weighed over 10,000 pounds! They could reach a distance of up to 45 kilometers away, and when they impacted, they would leave an impact crater that was 9 meters across!

An Australian family of eight commissioned one of the largest campers, a monstrous vehicle ever made in the world, in order to explore Australia’s most remote regions for months at a time. Designed by Australian luxury expedition vehicle manufacturer SLRV, it serves as a fully functioning house on wheels. Dubbed the Commander 8×8, the vehicle is 40 feet long, two stories tall, and can sleep up to 10 people. SLRV did not disclose the final cost of the camper but previously estimated that the price would fall between 670 thousand and 1.37 million dollars.

Part of a joint venture between Royal Dutch Shell, KOGAS, and Inpex, the Prelude is the world’s first floating liquefied natural gas project. It was built to access new natural gas fields at sea that were previously either too difficult or too expensive to develop.

The crawler weighs 2,721 tons and has 4 pairs of tracks located on either end. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 40×35 meters. There was a complete overhaul in 2003 for the NASA crawlers to include 16 traction motors. The vehicle can output up to 2750 HP and run on two 750 Kw/h generators. The NASA crawler has featured in several movies, such as Apollo 13.

Bagger 288

This is another movable, largest machine ever built in Germany. This Bagger 288 was the biggest land vehicle ever built when it was completed in 1978. It weighed 13,500 metric tons, and it is estimated to have cost around $100 million, which would be a lot more in today’s currency if you factor in inflation.

Just like the FGO, the Bagger 288 was built with the main objective of getting rid of the overburden in coal mining. The machine can excavate up to 240,000 tons of coal daily. In terms of size, the Bagger 288 is up to 220 m long.
